Is there a command thru which we can copy the spool file from one profile to other?
CPYSPLF from one profile to another
Unable to run CPYSPLF command multiple times to same output file in a single CL.
Iam running CPYSPLF command to an output file once, I process the resultant output file thereafter when i move on to the next spool file by again running the CPYSPLf Command on the same output file which required existing data to be cleared and overwritten with the data received from the second CPYSPLF command.
When i run the CPYSPLF command the second time i get a message CPF9845 error occured while opening the output file. It asks me to use the MONMSG command. However using MONMSG results in bypassing of the CPYSPLF command.
How can i overcome this error and still run the CPYSPLF command the second time.
CPYSPLF ERROR
I have a program that emails from the spool file whenthe user uses option “E”. I created this. Anyway. It blows up on a spool file that has a barcode in it defined. “Attributes of file RB421P not supported.” b/c of AFPDS barcoding it fails to create the file so I can do snddst command. Any ideas out there on how Ican get it to work? THanks
cpysplf problem in cl program
i have a cl program with the cpysplf command that is executed within it. before executing, it retrieves all the spool file attributes from a declared file. when i debug the program all the attributes are correct but it doesn’t copy to the physical file. the file is at the top of my library list and i’ve even qualified the library. also, when i execute the cpysplf from a command line and hardcode the exact same parameters it works fine. am i missing a parm in the crtclpgm or cpysplf command? thanks in advance.
physical file name
I am running cpysplf command and create new file everyday. I would like to give the file name with date extension on it. For example: before I run cpysplf command, I create PF INVOICE0305 (03/05/10). Is there any way to do so? Help please.

CPYSPLF To database fails with message CPF3468
Hello there:
I’m having problems at work for the last couple days.
I submitted a job that wakes up when the Dataque retrieves an incoming spool file (invoice). Right after Cpysplf is executed by QCMDEXC, I received message Id CPF3468. I would love to hear any suggestions.
Thank you very much
